Responsive Design

Smartphone use has skyrocketed, and increasing numbers of adults and teens access the Internet primarily through phones, tablets, and other mobile devices.

In the past, web designers painstakingly adapted the code behind each website to suit the browser or device a patron might be using.  With responsive design, a piece of code is inserted that automatically adjusts the display to the proper size.

Responsive design is an essential element for websites designed for an increasingly mobile future.  The Campbell CountyDaviess CountyLogan County, and Russell County library websites are all excellent examples of responsive design.
