ADA Web Accessibility Statement

The Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives (KDLA) is committed to Uniting People and Information - ensuring equal access to our all digital services for all people. In compliance with the U.S. Department of Justice’s ADA Title II rule, KDLA will ensure that all web content, mobile apps, and electronic documents meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards beginning April 24, 2026. 


KDLA will audit and update our digital content, train staff, and maintain ongoing accessibility testing to ensure our services remain usable by everyone. All new content will meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards and historic content will be updated, when possible, to comply. This policy applies to all web content produced or updated by KDLA.
