Using YouTube for Trustee Certification

Trustees may use YouTube to complete the five required courses for certification.

Complete each course using the following links:

• Library Trustee and Director Roles
• Conducting a Library Board Meeting
• Governance of Kentucky Public Libraries
• Strategic Planning and Library Advocacy
• Fiscal Responsibility

Fill out a Learning Activity Report (LAR) (PDF) for each course.

Submit Yo​​​ur Application

• Complete the Application for Kentucky Public Library Trustee Certification (PDF)
• Mail the application, LARs, and $20 fee to the address listed on the application.
