Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives

State Publications

The Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives maintains a collection of Kentucky state government publications. KDLA provides no-fee public access to these state publications in an impartial environment with professionally trained archivists and librarians available for assistance.

A state publication is defined as any published material, regardless of format, issued for general distribution, which documents agency-related functions or activities. As such, a state publication may be considered a "published record". Agencies produce these publications as a public record of their activities.
