2-4PM: Archives Month Launch Event
Join us on Thursday, October 1st from 2-4PM for an afternoon of celebration featuring guest speakers, awards recognizing outstanding archival stewardship, and a celebration of the important work happening in archives and records management across Kentucky!

5-6:30PM: Archives Symposium
Join us on Thursday, October 1st from 5-6:30PM for an engaging talk with Katherine Grandjean, author of Kingdom of Devils: A Tale of Murder in the Shadow of the American Revolution.
Grandjean will discuss her book, which explores a series of complex murders committed by the Harp brothers across Kentucky in the time period following the American Revolution. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear about Grandjean's research and the history that inspired her work. Following the program, the author will be available to sign books. Poor Richard's Books will be on site with books available to purchase.

2PM: Electronic Records Day Webinar
Electronic Records Day is designed to raise awareness among state government agencies, the general public, related professional organizations, and other stakeholders about the crucial role electronic records play in their world.
Electronic Records Branch Manager Derek Clark and Electronic Records Administrator Sarah Garrett will participate in the Council of State Archivists' annual Electronic Records Day webinar on Octobers 1st at 2PM. The topic of discussion is how artificial intelligence is encroaching into archival work.
