The Braille and Audio Reading Download (BARD) Mobile App is available for KTBL patrons to download and take books with them wherever they are. Here at KTBL, we noticed that the BARD postcard provided by the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled was a bit dated, so we took it upon ourselves to update it. The postcard is meant to be 5-by-7 inches, but can be found here as 6.43-by-9 inches as printed on a 8.5-by-11 piece of paper. The examples provided below are images for illustrative purposes only. We recommend you download the postcard as a PDF document.
On the front, it features the KTBL logo, the NLS logo, and a screenshot of the BARD Mobile app being used on a smartphone. You will also find a promotional blurb followed by KTBL's contact and social media information.
On the back, it features four different ways to experience our service. That includes a digital talking book machine, the BARD mobile app, braille books, and a braille eReader, along with the KTBL contact information.
