Sample Operations Policies for Kentucky Public Libraries

This page provides resources to help Kentucky's public libraries develop local library policies. Sample policies are offered as a source of help to aid libraries in developing and refining their own policies. The library board of each public library must establish library polices that are legal and that meet the needs of their community. The policies are current as of the date listed on the policy. Before adopting any policy, it is recommended that the library attorney review it.  All of the following sample policies are in Microsoft Word format.
