Course Description

KDLA is offering sessions of "Everything except Taxes: An Introduction to Federal Government Information Resources" for those employees wanting an overview of federal government information resources. The State Library is a selective federal depository library and receives federal government agencies publications in paper, microfiche and electronic formats from the Government Printing Office.

The training will include:

  • Federal Statistical Sources
  • Census Data
  • Federal Legislation and Regulation
  • Federal Agency Publications
  • Finding Federal Government Information on the Internet and in KDLA’s Catalog

KDLA offers these courses free to Kentucky State Employees.

Certificates of Training will be emailed to you following the session.

Delivery Method:

These hour long classes will be conducted online with GoToMeeting software. This is free software that is downloaded to your personal computer and may be removed after the class. With this software, the attendee will be able to view the presentation on their computer and listen to the instructor on the telephone.
