Business.gov (http://www.business.gov) provides a one-stop, common access point for Federal Government services and information needed to assist with starting, running, and growing a business.

Economic Indicators.gov (http://www.economicindicators.gov) provides timely access to the daily releases of key economic indicators from the Bureau of Economic Analysis and the U.S. Census Bureau.

FRED: Federal Reserve Economic Data (http://research.stlouisfed.org/fred2) offers regional and national financial and economic data from 3000 U.S. economic time series.

Industry, Trade, and the Economy: Data and Analysis (http://ita.doc.gov/td/industry/otea) offers state export data, foreign trade data, industry sector data, and much more.

NAICS NAICS (North American Industry Classification System - http://www.census.gov/epcd/www/naics.html) includes definitions for each industry, search the 2007 NAICS and 2002 NAICS for codes that changed, information on converting SIC to NAICS, and information on the manual, which is also available in print at the State Library.

National Technical Information Service (http://www.ntis.gov) the largest central resource for government-funded scientific, technical, engineering, and business related information available today. Here you will find information on more than 600,000 information products covering over 350 subject areas from over 200 federal agencies.

REIS (Regional Economic Information System) (http://www.bea.gov/regional/index.htm) Provides local area economic data for states, counties, and metropolitan areas for 1969-1995. Statistics in the data base include: personal income and earning variables, full and part employment variables, transfer payments variables, and farm income and expenses variables.

Small Business Administration (http://www.sba.gov) contains small business statistics, business laws and regulatory assistance, and economic data including state economic profiles.

STAT USA (http://www.stat-usa.gov) offers economic, business, and international trade information produced by the U.S. Government. This database is available for free for in-house use only at the State Library.

U.S. Census Bureau’s Economic Programs (http://www.census.gov/econ/www/index.html) offers information on economic data by sector, statistics, surveys, historical data, and much more.

U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (http://www.uspto.gov) search for patents and trademarks, find information on patents and trademarks, and information on laws and regulations.

USA Trade Online (http://www.usatradeonline.gov) information on U.S. imports and exports with statistics and tools to monitor trends and research markets. This database is available for free for in-house use only at the State Library.
