Course Description

If you would like to learn how to save time and effort by printing and processing multiple WorldCat Resource Sharing requests in sets or batches and using the system to create address labels, book straps, and book stickers, then this class is for you!

This two-hour live online class is designed to give you the tools you need to lessen your interlibrary loan load by incorporating batch processing and request, label, book strap, and book sticker printing into your daily workflow. Discussed and demonstrated will be batch printing, batch processing and updating, along with the printing processes for address labels, book straps, and book stickers. Attend this session and streamline your WorldCat Resource Sharing activities!

Prerequisites:

WorldCat Resource Sharing: The Basics and/or equivalent knowledge of OCLC WorldCat Resource Sharing. Participants must be familiar with WorldCat Resource Sharing.

Technical Requirements for Live Online Classes:

Registration to this free of charge class is limited to two people from each library system. While this is an online class, it is live and there are only 15 "seats" available. If you were paying for this session it would cost $120. Registration will be accepted on a first come first served basis. The registration deadline is two weeks prior to the session.
