Course Description

Potential library advocates are everywhere, so why not start working with your community to start building an advocacy network? Your community is a great place to start! In this 2 hour distance learning session, we will concentrate on how best to inform those around us about library programs, upcoming events and required resources. The support is there, you've just hot to find it! This is the second in a series of four classes in the advocacy track.

Intended Audience:

Anyone interested in learning how to attract community members to champion for the advocacy cause.

Registration to this free of charge class is limited to two people from each library system. While this is an online class, it is live and there are only 15 seats available. If you were paying for this session it would cost $120 per person. Registration will be accepted on a first come first served basis. The registration deadline is two weeks prior to the session.
